Booking & trip policies
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your trip. Deposits are refundable up to 30 days before your scheduled trip.
Cancellations
Trips canceled within 30 days may forfeit the deposit unless we can rebook the day. If conditions become unsafe or unfishable, we’ll reschedule or provide a refund.
Weather & water conditions
The Yellowstone and surrounding waters can change quickly. We may adjust locations to ensure safe and productive fishing. Our goal is always to put you on the best water available for your date.
Spring creek rod fees
Private spring creeks (Armstrong’s and DePuy’s) require rod fees set by the ranches. These fees are not included in your trip price.

For multi-day bookings, we rotate waters and tailor each day to clarity, flows, and conditions so you can experience different stretches of the Yellowstone system.
Winter trips
For ice-fishing on Harrison Reservoir, we provide shelters, heaters, electronics, and all required gear. It’s a relaxed, family-friendly option close to Livingston and Bozeman.
Gratuities
Gratuities are never required but always appreciated. A standard guide gratuity in Montana is $100–$150 for full-day trips.
